Privacy Policy

I keep this simple, because the practice is simple: I collect only what you give me, I use it to work with you, and I don't sell it to anyone. Here are the details.
Who I am. Whidbey Marketing is the marketing practice of Neicole Crepeau, based in Langley, Washington, USA. For anything in this policy, contact me at neicole@neicolecrepeau.com.
What I collect.
- Information you give me. If you submit a form on this site, I receive what you enter: typically your name, email address, company, and your message. If you book a call, Calendly collects your name, email, and the time you choose under its own privacy policy.
- Usage information. This site uses analytics to understand which content is useful. Analytics collects information such as pages visited, approximate location (city level), device and browser type, and how you arrived at the site.
- Technical logs. The site is hosted on Netlify, which processes standard server logs (like IP addresses) to deliver and secure the site.
What I don't collect. No payment information through this site. No sensitive personal information. Nothing from data brokers.
How I use your information.
- To respond when you contact me or book a call.
- To run assessments and engagements you've asked for.
- To understand what site content is useful, via analytics.
- If you request a resource (like a guide), to send it and occasionally share directly relevant material afterward. Every such email includes a way to opt out, and one reply is enough.
What I never do. I don't sell your information. I don't share it with third parties for their marketing. I don't add you to a mailing list you didn't ask for.
Cookies and analytics. This site uses cookies only as needed for analytics. You can block cookies in your browser settings without losing access to any part of the site.
Third-party services. This site relies on a small number of service providers, each governed by its own privacy policy: Netlify (hosting and form processing), Calendly (scheduling), and Google Analytics (usage analytics). If you download a resource or receive email from me, an email service provider may process your address on my behalf.
Data retention. Form submissions and correspondence are kept as long as needed to work together or answer your question, then periodically cleaned out. Analytics data is retained per the analytics tool's standard settings.
Your choices and rights. Email me and I'll tell you what information I have about you, correct it, or delete it. If you're in a place whose law grants you specific privacy rights (like the GDPR or a US state privacy law), I'll honor requests consistent with those rights.
Children. This site is for businesses and isn't directed at anyone under 13, and I don't knowingly collect information from children.
Changes. If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with an updated effective date.
